Vodafone offers two main broadband and TV packages: Superfast 1 Extra with Apple TV and Superfast 2 Extra with Apple TV.

Both packages are available on 24-month contracts and get you an Apple TV 4K set top box with nothing to pay upfront, as well as a free one-year subscription to Apple TV+.

What can you watch on Vodafone TV?

As well as the Apple TV+ service that comes free with Vodafone TV bundles and the full range of Freeview channels, the Apple TV 4K is compatible with Netflix, Now TV, BBC iPlayer, Starzplay, ITV Hub, All4, My5 and Amazon Prime Video.

Apple's set top box is also compatible with Apple’s 4K set top box include Shudder and BFI Player.

Vodafone TV customers can add one of its content bundles for an additional charge of £6 per month. This gets you access to your choice of Prime Video, Now TV or Spotify.

You can also rent movies and download or stream them through the Apple TV app.

Is Apple TV 4K any good?

Apple TV 4K

With sharp 4K picture quality and a responsive and easy-to-use interface, there’s a lot to recommend the Apple TV 4K set top box.

It offers voice controls through the same Siri app you’ll find on iPhones and iPads and a touch remote, as well as the option to use your iPhone to control your TV and doubles as a smart-speaker/home hub.

The Apple TV 4K is neatly designed too and comes in a lot cheaper than rival boxes, such as Sky Q or Virgin Media’s V6 box.

On the down side, although the touch remote feels futuristic and innovative, it can be a bit fiddly.

And it’s important to note that the Apple TV 4K doesn’t have any internal storage. That means you won’t be able to record programs, unlike its pricier competitors.

What’s good about Vodafone broadband and TV bundles?

Vodafone broadband customers get an award-winning app that enables them to manage their broadband settings and offers parental controls to monitor family members’ usage.

A discount of £3 per month is on offer too, if you add a pay monthly mobile phone plan to your package.

What’s less good about Vodafone broadband and TV?

At twenty-four months, the contract term is long. So you won’t be in a position to switch for some time.

Vodafone isn't the fastest broadband around either. Or the cheapest. But it’s reliable and decent for the price.
